Hi.

Welcome to SharePoint Simply. I am a non-technical SharePoint person just like you. Follow along while I learn things and help you do them.

Microsoft Flow: Let a workflow continue after a step fails

Time to do this: 10 seconds per step

This is a handy little trick that I haven’t seen documented anywhere. If you’re building a workflow in Flow and don’t want the entire run to fail when a single step fails, you can use a setting that’s available on each step.

Use Configure run after settings

Set what your workflow does if a certain step has a certain result.

Use the “Configure run after” setting on any step to tell your workflow to keep going if something fails or if a step gets skipped as the result of a previous step failing.
